According to the report, a Sprint sales associate has allegedly reported that Sprint has already started briefing its employees on the iPhone apparently in view of the (supposedly) upcoming release of iPhone on Sprint.
That said, it could not be ascertained if Sprint will carry the next-generation iPhone or if Apple will just debut an iPhone 4 Sprint version for Sprint's customers. While the latter may not likely be an acceptable case for most of us, it is somehow possible that Sprint may start over with iPhone 4 now and later adding iPhone 5 to its line-up.
But that should definitely seem a depression to all the iPhone fanboys waiting to get their hands on a Sprint iPhone 5. Isn't it? We thought so.
But, how many of us would want it that way? I wouldn't. Whether you would love to see a Sprint iPhone 5 or not, please drop in a comment to voice your opinion. We'd appreciate that.
Did we miss the refresher?
Oh! Here, it is: the iPhone has only been available through AT&T for more than 3 years until Verizon Wireless joined the league debuting iPhone 4 as the first-CDMA iPhone on its carrier in the United States. Sprint is believed to be the next or among the first to carry CDMA iPhone 5. Besides, T-Mobile is also expected to officially carry the next-generation iPhone when it's released, but it would be obviously a GSM iPhone 5 or the like.
The next-generation iPhone is expected to sport a larger edge-to-edge display which maybe, perhaps, about 4-inches in size. A faster dual-core A5 processor that Apple debuted in iPad 2, extra RAM storage and a 1080p capable 8 megapixel camera are also among several of the anticipated features. The new iPhone will run Apple iOS 5 right out-of-the-box.
We will keep you posted as more details surface. Stay tuned!
