Apple Orders 15 Million Next-Generation iPhones From Pegatron

Looks like the earlier analyst speculation regarding the imminent arrival of the next-generation iPhone was correct after all after news broke yesterday that the Taiwan-based Pegatron Technology has received an order from Apple for 15 million iPhone 5s. Sources say that the new iteration of the wildly popular iPhone will not be a far departure from the iPhone 4 styling and is set for shipment in September as Apple have already started supplying components to Pegatron.

Judging from this, it could be the rumoured iPhone 4S as opposed to the iPhone 5 with the lack of major changes. Either way, come September we'll have a whole new reason to line up around the block.
